Phoenix/Mesa
Cousin Mona and hubby Eldon (from Summerside PEI) are spending 3 months in Mesa (Phoenix AZ) for January, February and March 2019. They invited me to stay 2 weeks with them. Here are some pictures of my time there.
These are taken from the trailer where they were staying - a grapefruit tree or orange tree in fron of each property:

This is where I slept (in the shed)
Look at the size of these grapefruits
Next, we visited Superstition Mountain, Lost Dutchman Museum
Next stop: Goldfield Mine (Ghost town)
Further down the road: Canyon Lake Vista
And...finally: Tortilla Flat
Here is a communication tower disguised as a palm tree
On another day, we went to Usery National Park, where we did a bit of mountain hiking
This poor cactus was toppled over due to erosion. The roots aren't very deep
This is Eldon and I being dwarfed by a saguaro cactus
